The scale of projects we take on
For each consulting project, we carefully calculate the level of service required to meet our client’s needs. We strive to provide solutions which deliver results and which finish on time and within budget.
Consultations: You are dealing with one or two straightforward issues regarding you or your team’s productivity and need answers or advice that can be delivered during one or two 60-min long virtual meetings.
Productivity assessments and roadmaps: Your team is dealing with one or more complex productivity killing issues and needs help to diagnose their causes, discuss possible solutions and to develop an action plan.
Individual assistance: A key team member is underperforming and assistance is required to provide them with guidance and to optimize or adapt the tools and systems they use at work. Paired with our coaching services, this type of project typically lasts 3 to 6 months.
Department-level projects: A team or unit in your organization requires one or more laser-focused solutions to improve their effectiveness and efficiency in a key area. Using the example of an HR team in need of assistance, a project of this scale would involve providing one or two of the following types of services:
Optimizing employee training programs to address key recurring deficiencies or opportunities
Developing polices and training materials for a new business unit
Developing policies, programs and tools to effectively transition a team to remote work
Implementation and roll-out of a business technology solution (task management system, scheduling software, CRM, etc.)
Large-scale enterprise projects: You need assistance across your entire workforce to boost overall effectiveness and efficiency. These are some examples of large-scale projects we have undertaken for clients:
Facilitating a series of workshops with the board and executive team to define and align the organization’s Strategic Plans, Yearly plans, OKR and KPIs, followed by support to draft these business documents and ensure their adoption throughout the workforce.
Conducting 1:1 virtual meetings company-wide in order to map out processes, create Standard Operating Procedures and produce training materials from the ground up, in order to prepare for scaled growth.
Completing an extensive productivity audit across all business units, meeting with the executive team to discuss its findings and providing rectifying solutions, which could include trainings for managers to streamline meetings, optimizing project and task management systems, implementing digital process automations, etc.

Step 2. After we receive your completed questionnaire, Marc Gendreau will get in touch with you (typically within less than two business days) to schedule a free, no-obligation 30-minute consultation video chat (Zoom).
Step 3. During your consultation, you’ll get to ask any questions you might have and Marc will ask you some follow-up questions based on the answers you provided in the questionnaire. This discussion will allow us to draft a preliminary roadmap for the consulting services we believe would provide results and to confirm that we are a good fit your company or organization’s needs at this time.
Step 4. Shortly after your consultation call, we will send a detailed proposal with our fees for either an initial portion or the full scope of the consulting project.
Frequently Asked Questions
+ Who will be my consultant?
The majority of the work performed for consulting projects is performed by Marc Gendreau, the founder of Optimatron. When necessary, sub-contractors or specialized partners are brought in for larger projects.
+ Who are your consulting clients?
Optimatron consults with individuals, companies and organizations in a wide variety of sectors. To name but a few sectors, we have consulted with marketing agencies, home renovation companies, hedge funds, private equity funds, app developers, and non-profit organizations.
+ How long will our consulting project take to complete?
It is not possible to answer this question before meeting you / your team and learning more about your current situation. Some projects are completed in just a handful of meetings or workshops whereas complex, large scale solutions can take several months or even over a year to complete.
+ Do you offer any discounts?
Yes! We offer discounted fees for our consulting services in the following cases:
- Non-profit organizations;
- Organizations which contract us for work across more than one service type (consulting, coaching, teaching);
- During promotional events.
We will gladly discuss potential discounts with you during your consultation video chat.
+ When can you meet with clients?
During normal office hours (Eastern Standard Time), Monday through Thursday.
+ Can we meet in person?
Our services are typically provided remotely but it is possible (and sometimes preferable) for some consulting services to be provided in person.
+ What type of payment do you accept?
Optimatron accepts the following methods of payment: Visa, Mastercard, Discover, Apple Pay and bank transfers. You will be able to quickly and safely complete any payments directly within email invoices.
+ Do you offer refunds?
Our consulting services are non-refundable.
+ Are your consulting services confidential?
Yes. All information discussed or obtained during the delivery of our consulting services remain confidential between Optimatron and its clients unless required by law or if the client agress for elements of the project to be discussed publicly. For clients receiving coaching paid by their employer as part of a consulting project package, a consent form will be signed to allow Optimatron to discuss their overall progress and adherence to the coaching process with their employer.
+ Are your consulting services also available in French?
Yes. All services offered by Optimatron are available in both English and French.

Terms and conditions
For international clients, consulting fees are all-inclusive (there are no additional fees or taxes). Provincial and federal taxes are added for Canadian clients.
All payments must be received in Canadian dollars. For international clients, this means that the conversion rate from your currency to Canadian Dollars will be calculated on the day your payment is processed.
